Title VI Civil Rights & Public Participation Plan

Why Get Involved?

Public involvement is an important part of transportation planning. The decision making process is improved when the MPOs have input from the community and a variety of stakeholders. The public involvement process was designed to make information easily accessible to anyone interested.

How to Get Involved

The easiest way to get involved is to attend an MPO (Metropolitan Planning Organization) or TTAG (Transportation Technical Advisory Group) meeting.

The Title VI Civil Rights & Public Participation Plan is the official policy governing public involvement for the MPOs. The document outlines strategies used to engage the public during transportation planning activities.
