Governor Lamont Announces $23 Million in State Grants for Eight Projects That Boost Community Vibrancy, Livability, and Equity

Congratulations to the Town of Bethel who received a $4,500,000 Connecticut Communities Challenge Grant from the CT Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD)!

The Town has invested longstanding efforts to bring Transit-Oriented Development to its downtown. This project will bring mixed use housing with commercial development, infrastructure enhancements, greenspace and trails all adjacent to the Bethel train station.
