The draft The Housatonic Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (HVMPO) 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is being updated, and will be considered for endorsement at the HVMPO meeting on August 17, 2017.
It is being circulated beforehand to ensure that community concerns are properly included. HVMPO is initiating a minimum 30-day public comment period which will begin on June 26, 2017 and conclude at noon on August 7, 2017.
The HVMPO 2018-2021 TIP is a dynamic list of all highway and public transit projects proposed to be undertaken utilizing Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration funding during federal fiscal years 2018-2021 within Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, and Sherman.

Comments on the draft TIP can be made at the public information meeting scheduled for August 2, 2017 5pm-7pm at the WestCOG office, 1 Riverside Rd, Sandy Hook CT 06482; by mail to the WestCOG office; or emailed to Jamie Bastian, at jbastian@westcog.org
Statewide TIP
The Draft 2018-2021 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and Air Quality Conformity Documents for Ozone and PM2.5 will also be available for public review and comment through July 31, 2017
