CTDEEP Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) Grant Program Is Now Available!
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has announced the availability of up to $968,805 in funding for the reduction of diesel emissions. DEEP is seeking grant proposals from municipalities, organizations, and businesses for diesel emissions reduction projects which generate environmental and economic benefits, can be initiated promptly, and will be completed quickly.
A complete list of eligible projects is provided in the 2023 Guidance for the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) Project Proposals (2023 DERA Guidance Document); See the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) website for program details and the application form. Interested parties are encouraged to apply by submitting their proposal using the form provided by DEEP on its Diesel Grants & Funding page. Completed forms and inquiries should be directed to the attention of DERA Grants Administration at DEEP.MobileSources@ct.gov; proposals must be submitted no later than December 15, 2023.
