Farnaz is WestCOG’s lead planner on understanding our region’s housing needs and developing strategies for future development. She holds a PhD in Planning and Design for the Built Environment, where she developed expertise in statistics, geographic analysis, and the socioeconomic dynamics of urban change. Her professional experience spans land use planning, transportation planning, and urban design. Farnaz specializes in GIS-based spatial modeling and developing data-driven, implementable planning solutions.
