Digital Deeds
In Connecticut, the processing and recording of property data occurs across numerous departments and in many cases requires physical data entry and storage which inevitably is vulnerable to data corruption and delays. Modern data entry practices can streamline the uptake, recording, processing, and storage of land records which translates to reduced exposure to human error, a swifter property transaction process and improved security.
This project will work with up to three pilot communities to explore and implement (where possible) a digital workflow for uptake and recording for land across two parts described in the figure and descriptions below.
