Reminder: First Quarter Active Transportation Microgrant Applications due March 10th
The CTDOT Active Transportation Microgrant Program is intended for non-infrastructure projects up to $5,000 that support walking, biking, and rolling in Connecticut. The program is contingent upon available funding and applications will be accepted on a quarterly basis. The program does not require a match from the eligible entity. Schools, school districts, municipalities, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and health districts are eligible to apply.
New items have been added to the eligibility list in 2025 including (full list available at westcog.org):
- scooters
- bicycle and scooter racks
- bicycle repair kits
- hand-held stop sign paddles
- reflective stickers, cones, and bicycle wheel spoke reflectors
