Sagnik Chand is a Data Scientist at WestCOG, currently working on the development of the Regional Transportation Safety Plan for Western Connecticut through advanced crash data analysis and research. He holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and brings experience from his work with UMass DACSS alumni and MIT’s GenAI Global teams, where he applied cutting-edge machine learning and generative AI techniques at scale. Outside of work, Sagnik enjoys exploring music & art, great food, and following soccer.
