Metropolitan Transportation Plan
WestCOG is updating the Metropolitan Transportation Plans (MTP) for the South Western Region and Housatonic Valley Metropolitan Planning Organizations. The MTPs, previously referred to as the Long Range Transportation Plans or LRTP, are the primary documents for transportation planning, strategies, and investments in the region for the next 25 years.
We want to hear from you – residents and users of the region’s transportation system- on what the transportation system should look like in 2050. Where can improvements be made? How do you want to get around western Connecticut in the future? What do you see as the strengths and weaknesses of our current transportation system?
