Managing Parks and Open space during a pandemic – Webinar

WestCOG hosted a webinar on Managing Open Space During a Pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic called for lockdowns and social distancing regulations, which have disrupted life throughout Connecticut, and beyond. Concurrently, the increased use of trails and open space has been extraordinary. These facilities are experiencing record highs. On many accounts, this is a good thing! However, open space managers, towns, and state agencies are grappling with how to best manage and promote use while upholding new (and constantly evolving) public health and safety protocols.

Fitzgerald & Halliday, Inc. (FHI) partnered with WestCOG to host an informational webinar.
